No one was hurt in a garage fire that began around 2:45 a.m. Jan. 3 in the 19000 block of Pasadena Avenue.
The garage was detached, but officials say the blaze did cause some minor damage to the surrounding homes.
There is no word on what started the fire.

Man rescued from fire
A man is in critical condition after being pulled from a house fire by Southwest Central Fire Territory firefighters about 1 p.m. Monday in the 60100 block of Myrtle Road. The first Southwest units to arrive were told that a man was still on the second floor. Southwest Battalion Chief Tony Reeves said the man’s injuries appear to be mainly due to smoke inhalation.
The Indiana State Fire Marshal’s office was called in to investigate the fire.

Fatal Crash
Southwest Central Fire Territory District 42 responded to a single-vehicle accident about 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, in the 26600 block of Indiana 23.
The maroon pick-up truck left the roadway, striking a tree in a resident's front yard and entrapping the driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Scott Street Fire
Southwest Central Fire Territory crews and units from multiple mutual aid companies extinguished a house fire at 60040 Scott Street.
The call came in at approximately 8:39 p.m. Sunday, June 18, and the fire was put out approximately an hour later. No one was injured.

Detroit Street Fire
No one one was injured in an early-morning fire that damaged the inside of a Detroit Street home on May 9. Southwest crews arrived to find flames coming from the rear of the home.
The blaze was brought under control quickly, although firefighters from SWCFT and several mutual aid companies spent a couple of hours exposing and extinguishing hot spots.
